Parsifal Corporation: About the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM)

Founded in 1948, the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) was created to provide service and advocacy for human resources professionals in the United States. The organization has expanded over the years and currently has more than 250,000 members in over 140 countries around the world.

The organization represents HR professionals in a range of areas, including leadership, compensation, employee relations, safety and security, global human resources, benefits, technology, labor relations, diversity, ethics, and organizational and employee development. Members benefit from a storehouse of information on legal issues and employment law, governmental matters, and federal resources. Members can also find a number of helpful resources like tools and templates, how-to guides, and opportunities for education and networking.

SHRM represents individual members who hold multiple roles within the human resources industry, including company officials, managers, directors, generalists, specialists, supervisors, consultants, administrators, and legal counsel. Half of the members are associated with large companies of more than 500 employees.

Parsifal Corporation, established in 1981, is a leader in global relocation and a member of SHRM. Parsifal Corporation provides customized services and innovative tools to relocation professionals in a number of sectors, including retail, energy, financial, insurance, transportation, entertainment, food, and manufacturing.
